Captain Neil Cohn has a 100 ton masters captains license since 1997. He was born and raised in Long Beach California and has fished our coast from Mexico to as far north as Alaska. He has been running Four Reel since 1998 and still enjoy every day out on our beautiful ocean. Either if it is fishing our local rockfish to chasing big game offshore we put out 100% every time. Fishing has been his passion since he was a youngster, fishing off docks to his first skiffs and now our 34 ft Radovich Sporfisher. We hope to see you on our boat for charter, you won't be disappointed. She has a private head, room for everyone in and on top to escape the sun if needed. A massive 190 gallon split bait tank to hold plenty of live bait. Life raft and all the safety gear required by Coast Guard. Our vessel “Four Reel” is one great platform to fish off of. There is a large walk around deck to fight the big ones unlike most boats of this size but best off all our deck hand and Captain are there to make sure you have the best chances of landing your catch. One of the best fishing trips of my life
My son and two grandsons and I went out with capt. Neil on an six hour trip. 15 minutes into the trip Neil had us hooked in to a thrasher shark. That took about an hour to land. Then he took us to catch sea bass we caught some many fish that we where all for just spent. My grandsons and son said best day fishing of their lives. I highly recommend that if anyone wants to fish give capt. Neil and his crew a call and try him. Caters to helping the kids fish awesome day definitely going again
This was my first charter trip ever with my family, and I’m so glad it was with Neil and Josh. They both were just so genuine and kind towards us, always telling us to make ourselves feel right at home in their comfortable cabin. They helped us so much, teaching us how to hook live bait and showing us where to cast. They wanted to make sure we caught as much as we could and answered any questions we had. Josh was so helpful and very very sweet. We caught a lot of fish with them, including a halibut, and the reaction of Neil, Josh, and my family just made my entire day. Please if you choose a charter trip, go with them. They will make your day worth it!!!
If you didn’t book your trip with Neil at Four Reels, then you made a HUGE mistake. The boat is great and so comfortable. Neil and Josh greet you with hot coffee and water on board. If you want to take a break you can go below and chill out and watch some TV and having a bathroom on board certainly makes things a lot easier. You can pick how you want to fish or just let them take you to their hot spots. The day was a great success with plenty of fish caught and my family and I really enjoyed the day! Our next trip back will be for a 12 hour trip!!! Thanks again Neil and Josh for a hell of a day and a great family memory!!!
Awesome experience! Capt. Neil and josh made sure we had a great time with plenty of fishing action! It was early in the season but he knew right where to find the yellowtail! I Highly recommend booking a trip with him, you won't regret it. Top notch boat to!!
Long time coming. Neil's boat fishes like a dream. Tons of room. Neil is super fishy. Spreads the knowledge and gets you bit! Takes care of the fish well too. Will be bookings seasonally for sure!!

We let Neil know that none of us were experienced and that this excursion was about our friends who were in from Germany’s 7 year old son who loves fishing. Neil and Josh took such great care of us and were especially attentive to young Felix. They made sure Felix caught many fish and had the time of his life. They were amazing and caring, completely undaunted by the language barrier. When we finished up for the day all of us were smiling and laughing, we had just had a fantastic day. I cannot say enough positive words about Neil, Josh and Four Reel Sport Fishing. Thanks again for a great day!
We just had the best day on the ocean with Neil and his crew member Josh today--he is so knowledgeable and caters to his clients needs at every turn--I highly recommend a fishing trip in his well maintained boat equipped with fishing gear for all to use. Everyone in our party agreed that this was one of the best days we had all spent together in a long time! I highly suggest you try a day on the water yourselves!

Had the best trip with Neal. He is knowledgeable about the area and where the fish are at. A private charter is the only way to go. You can cover more water and personalize your trip. Highly recommend this boat to book your next trip
Awesome fishing experience. Neil and Josh took care of everything for us. We were all new to ocean fishing. They showed us everything we needed. Personal and fun experience, would never do another charter. You know your in the right place when their loving what they do. Were looking forward to our next trip.
