About

These trips are for everyone from serious anglers to the first-time fishermen. Children of all ages are welcome. I will do my best to make this is a successful trip that the whole family will enjoy. My specialty is deep water light tackle trolling for large Kokanee Salmon and rainbow trout using downriggers. On most trips we will put out 4 rods at various depths and slow troll the latest lures. Then it's up to you to land this hard fighting inland salmon. Make plans to take a fishing trip at Shaver Lake CA with a professional and courteous guide. While I can't guarantee a boat load of fish everyday, I can tell you any day of the season can produce a boat load of fish.

Great guide. Born and raised in the area and he likes Jeeps. We caught Kokanee immediately. Thanks Todd!

Todd is the man, we all had a really great time. He really goes out of his way to make sure everyone on board has a great time and catches fish. My girlfriend caught her first fish on this trip, everyone had a blast. Todd really know Bass lake like the back of his hand. Boat is very well equipped. He'll even show you his pet bald eagle if you are interested. We highly recommend his excellent service!!!

I used to think I was quite the fisherman but after going out with Todd from Kokanee.net Guide Service in 2008 I've realized that I still had a lot to learn. When everyone else was struggling to land a couple of fish we were steady reeling them in. This guide has so many tricks up his sleeve that the fish almost follow his boat around lol. Anyway thats how it seemed. I noticed lots of other boats that were keeping their eyes on us as we continued to hook and land fish after fish. We even had doubles on several times. He was forthcoming about how to read the fishfinder and offered up a plethora of unique ways to catch these salmon and trout as well. I understand that this year (2013) because of a problem with construction on the dam over the last few years, the kokanee salmon will not be so prevalent for a couple of more years, however, huge plantings of stock sized rainbow trout as well as a batch of trophy trout to 5pounds have been stocked and it pretty much insures that there will always be something on your hook. I like fishing from a boat because I get to fish all over the lake instead of just one spot on the bank and Todds boat is comfortable, shaded ( a huge plus in the summer time), cool and equipped with all of the necessary rods and tackle required for a successful day on the water. I've already booked a trip with him in June. Cya out there!
