Capt. Grant produces when conditions are tough. This dogged determination to find fish and satisfy his clients was apparent during our trip. Fishing equipment is up to date and well maintained and his boat is awesome. Less experienced fishers will find his willingness to share his knowledge worth the cost of the trip. We'll be back.

We booked a multi-day trip and got to go and see new areas, even though we have been fishing these waters for 40 years. Capt. Grant shared his experience and let us fish. It worked out great and our family had tons of fun. Recommend Grant even if you think you know it all. You don’t.

My family had an amazing day fishing with captain Grant. We started fishing for trout and caught 3 keepers and a few more that were a little too small to eat. After that, we enjoyed a quick bite to eat while Grant caught some mullet so we could try our hand at fishing redfish. We caught 3 redfish, including a large 30 inch one. I can't wait to cook dinner for the family tomorrow night. Next time we are in the Corpus area, we will definitely be booking another trip with Backlash Charters.

Our fishing trip with Grant was amazing! This is our 4th trip and have never been disappointed. He took out to catch Red Snappers and we caught our limit. Highly recommend him, he’s a great guy and guide.
Had a charter with Captain Grant and Captain Kevin yesterday. These two guys are awesome and we had such a great time!! They showed us girls how to do fishing the proper way and we caught 40 lbs of trout, reds and black drums. Would recommend them highly if you want to catch fish!!! Such a fun time!!!
