Booking with Blue Water Charters was VERY easy through their website and their prices are better than most around that we researched. Erica was helpful keeping us informed when our trip day had to be changed due to weather. When we arrived for our trip it was introductions then on the boat to go fish. So talk about easy. 5 star fishing trip. Captain Dan made sure we had a great time with his fantastic personality and put us on fish to catch! Captain took us to several different spots for fishing, and talked to us about some of the surrounding areas on the shore. He did everything he could to make sure our group was comfortable offering bathroom stops, water and Gatorade, and sunscreen on our 6 hour trip.
My sons and me had a great time fishing with Captain James!! He knows where the fish are and how to catch them! Thanks for the great fishing trip!!
The guide was really nice and really informational. We caught massive bull reds. He knows where to go, he's good with kids, and has on of the smoothest riding boats I've ever rode in. I cant even explain how friendly the guide was. Having a good guide makes the trip just that much better.

Excellent trip, both Captains are knowledgable and deck hands work very hard to ensure a quality trip. We caught lots of fish on the 6 hour trip. This is a full service experience and a great private setting for a small group. We had 3 of us and had plenty of room to fish and ride. My total complements to BlueWater Charters for the great experience. We will be back!
First offshore trip we had a blast with Capt Dan. He put us on some great spots we had a 4 man limit on red snappers in 35 mins. Also had a couple mangrove snappers, a white snapper and 1 amberjack
What a trip! Erica handled the logistics well. Nice weather and water. Capt put us right on fish quickly. But better than that, the 2-5# fish we were catching turned into bait! My second or third snapper was consumed by a 65# (approximately) cobia and my fishing partner's turned into one huge shark! We will eat cobia for a time, but the shark decided not to stay with us. ;-( Maybe Erica and Capt. James can't take credit for "some" of that (hehe), but I had just told them both that we has goals similar to that, so... Thanks!
Had a blast on the water with James! He kept us in the fish the entire trip. Top notch boat, equipment, and service! Could not have had a better time! Can't wait to get back down there.
These guys are AMAZING! We had trouble with boat power on our pontoon and they were right there to helps us out. They towed us back to our launching spot without hesitation or charge! We can't thank them enough for helping us in need! You guys ROCK!
Blue Water Charters is the best!! I planned a surprise fishing trip for my husband’s 50th birthday. We had an amazing time. Captains James and Dan are awesome!! We had 10 of us so very limited on charter companies. Blue Water Charters offers 6+people. We were on 2 boats but close to each other and able to enjoy a fun friendly competition. Loved it!!! When we were finished they had snacks and a birthday cake for my husband. Oh also Blue Water Charters T-shirts for all of us. What a wonderful personal touch to our day with them. Thank you Erica. Didn’t book in advance and everyone was booked. They had a cancellation that day and called us and got us on a half day charter. Their boats are clean and well maintained. Capt Dan was knowledgable of the near shore grounds and got us on some great on some great red snapper. Will use them for our next trip.

We had the best time fishing with Blue Water Charters. Captain James got us on fish right away, and we hooked many Vermillion and Lane Snapper, as well as Cobia and Red Snapper that was fun to catch but had to go back. We’ve done many charters over the years, and this was by far one of the best. We will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone coming to the area.
Today we had a 4hr Grillin and Chillin with Captain Dan in the Blue Haven too! We had a great day with grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and watermelon for lunch. Floating around on the party raft at Robinson Island and then great ride back to the Marina, even got to see the lady of the lakes! James and ‘Erica made my fishing trip was perfect. They knew exactly where to go to find snapper and other fish and have cool technology on the boat to keep us fishing in the right spots. Plus cabin they both have loads of fishing experience and knowledge. James and Erica made sure I knew what I was doing and made the environment and atmosphere of fishing great fun! They were a delight to spend time with. I will definitely come back and fish with my new friends.

James and Erica are an unbelievable team , while Erica keeps you informed as to what you should get ready for before the trip , how you can find James at the dock and of any changes you should know about , James on the other hand let's you know when you get there the outlook for the weather , the position of the life jackets and what the day will consist of then takes you for one of the best and funnest fishing trips you could possibly want ,we cought Gag grouper , Red snapper , Trigger fish , Vermillion snapper and Amber Jack keeping what was legal and in season , my wife had only been deep sea fishing once before , I ask James to make this trip as enjoyable for her as the first one and going by her reaction I think he knocked it out of the park !! Captain James made the experience fantastic from start to finish - extremely helpful, professional, and patient with us on our first charter trip! He was a ninja swapping out lines so we could keep bait in the water; couldn't have been any nicer. Loved all the different locations we fished and especially that he hung in there till Brian got his big redfish!! Will recommend you to everyone for sure.

We were going to go fishing but the wind made it impossible. James and Erica still made the day the most amazing birthday for my husband. Their hospitality is top notch from the birthday cupcakes on arrival to the island hopping to the music on board and just over all amazing great time!! WOW, So many snapper! Blue Water Charters put us on the fish quickly and kept the action up all day. My family and I greatly enjoyed our morning fishing trip... I told James and Erica that our goal was to make it exciting for the kids (6 and 9 yrs)... they certainly succeeded! Amazing! Wouldn't book anywhere else. My daughters were visiting for a couple days during our vacation and were a little apprehensive about going out on a boat, so I booked the sunset cruise (no fishing). We did the 6 hour Off-shore charter with Captain James. Between him and Erica they were very informative on letting us know everything we were going to need and where we needed to go to get picked up. Once we got out, we were on the fish immediately and they never stopped! Captain James explained everything we needed to know, and was very helpful with taking fish off the hooks for the people that were unsure about doing it themselves. He tries his hardest to accomplish everything that you want in the time you have out there, and is just as excited if not more than you are when you catch a nice fish. I'll be getting ahold of him again if I ever make it back down there.
Big Thank You to Blue Water Charters for an amazing day on the water. Captain Dan knows how to deliver a spectacular day. The Dolphins sighting was the highlight but from start to finish every minute of my trip was first rate. Blue Water Charters knows how to show you a great time.

blue water charters is topnotch. Capt. James is a great guy. very knowledgeable he put us on the fish.he also has a nice boat and great equipment.we caught lots of sheepshead and big ones too and also boated our 3 person limit of nice redfish. great experience we will definitely be booking another trip soon

Today I went out with James on his charter boat this guy was awesome! Showed us all the places you wouldn’t have seen if you rented a boat . Me and my family really enjoyed are day and his wife is an amazing person . They make you feel right at home and he enjoyed my son that asked him a million questions! I would recommend this to all who want a charter boat great people ! Thanks so much . I don’t know how to do the stars but this is a five star charter!

I've been wanting to take my son on a fishing charter for a while now, thanks to James getting my attention, I was able to plan one finally. Decided to invite my business partner and it turned out to be one of the best experiences ever. I wanted to see and hear my son get excited about big fish and James put us right on them. We had a great trip with James. My wife and I caught five different species and had solid action all day. It definitely restored my faith in inshore fishing trips. First time fishing on a charter boat! And I can say best experience ever! Mr. James was the best to help us out and show us how it was done! Most defiantly will be back!
My family and I took a charter this past Friday and had a blast! Mr James and Shawn were very welcoming. Whenever we were at a spot too long with no bites they quickly moved us to another one. We ended up limiting out on red snapper before it was over. It was smooth sailing! With this being our first charter fishing trip these guys took care of everything and made the trip worry free for us. We had 4 adults and 2 kids ages 6 and 9. Highly recommend them.
My husband and I had a great time with Captain Dan! I have been on other deep sea charters but this was my favorite trip! We caught fish, he knew where to take us, taught me a lot about catching Reds, we had a dolphin race the boat and overall gave us a great day of fun! We will be back!Thanks Captain Dan!

Nothing short of an amazing time! Captain James and his partner Shawn were super friendly and helpful, they definitely made the trip memorable for us. From taking our call late at night and getting us booked last minute to the time we walked away with our fillets, blue water charters were hands down the best team to make your day perfect. Catching limits on the red snapper was our goal, but limiting out while having the best personal experiences was the icing on the cake. Thank y’all for everything, we can’t wait to come back!
Great day on the Gulf today with Captain Dan! Water was a bit rough far out but we toughed it out and Captain Dan put us on some nice fish. Great outfit and very personable folks. We will be back!
