Lovely Martha Fishing Charter

The Lovely Martha is the third "Martha" to take fishermen and sightseers out through the Golden Gate from San Francisco. Her history spans many decades as an icon in the world-famous fishing fleet at home in Fisherman's Wharf.
Three generations of the Rescino family have escorted groups out in search of game fish. The family has helped young and old catch hundreds of thousands of salmon and other species.
Some of our loyal customers fished on the Lovely Martha as children, and now they are treating their grandchildren to special fishing trips on the Lovely Martha as the tradition continues.
The Rescino family was born fish and teach others how to reel in the big one! Captain Frank Rescino is the 3rd generation captain and Mike Rescino is the 4th generation captain. A family tradition!

Just finished a full day Halibut trip. Captain Mike, Andrew, and Willy really make for an excellent fishing experience! We hit limits for the boat after about 3 hours. Highly recommended if you're looking for a fun and efficient fishing trip. I can only imagine their Bay cruises are just as fun! Highly recommended, can't wait to book another trip!
I’ve been going on the Lovely Martha for around six years. Captain Mike & Frank know how to put you on fish. As for the crew Willy and Andrew go above and beyond to help and always a positive attitude from the whole crew. They will always have my Business every year and always recommend them to anyone who wants a great charter.

My brother and I had an amazing time salmon fishing on the Lovely Martha Fishing Boat! The captain and deckhands were there to assist us whenever we needed help rather it was baiting our hook or reeling in a feisty salmon. The dog copper even kept us company. If copper isn’t aboard that boat, the trip will be incomplete! I will see you guys for crab and fishing soon!
We had a blast on the Lovely Martha. Captain Mike put us on some big fish and we went home with our limits. Andrew is one heck of a deck hand and we were super impressed with him. Mike was enthusiastic and showed us a killer time.
We highly recommend them and can't wait to go back.

I recommend this charter boat. You can catch three halibut on one four-six hour trip. The fishermen are veterans with decades of experience.
I absolutely cannot recommend this business enough! Mike and crew were amazing. I didn’t know that a 5 AM wake up call to fish could be so enjoyable. My boyfriend and I were one of the last on the boat. We signed in, we’re assigned a number that our fish were tagged with, and picked our rods. Mike is so animated and you can tell he and his crew enjoy what they do. His kid is even a deck hand. You can tell this is a family business and everyone’s got a role. I really liked this over the more “corporate” experiences I’ve had on other charters. Once we got set up, we headed out. It was a slower day, but my action picked up in the afternoon. Boy was I amazed when I hauled in my salmon! They don’t guarantee fish, but I’m glad I got one. Just watching the joy on peoples faces when they reeled in the hogs we were getting was more than enough for me if I didn’t get any fish. You can tell this business cares for their patrons significantly and it shows. If you’re still searching for a charter in San Francisco, run, don’t walk to Lovely Martha’s website to book a charter!!!
